A good communication will keep your relationship alive and happy. It is important for you to keep in touch with one another. The quality of the relationship is more likely to increase if both people develop the ability to share feelings openly with each other and be able to convey one another how much they miss and love one another. A good relationship thrives on respect and admiration for one another. You should be able to respect each others feeling, emotions, beliefs and views. You have to try to do things together, especially if you’re in a long distance relationship it’s important to do other things together besides the usual phone call. In any relationship, incorporating other forms of interaction are important. Try to find new things you to can do together even if you’re far away or live close. Schedule movie dates, webcam with each other, do your homework together, fall asleep on the webcam and wake up in the morning to each other, there’s many things to do so you never feel alone.

Talk about future plans, talk about the things you are looking forward to once you two can be together again. Assuming that ultimately you’d want to be together forever, talk about how you’re going to get to that point where you guys can be together and have each others touch again.  A relationship must be built on strong foundations of trust, understanding and determination to make it work. That creates a common goal for you to work towards developing a strong relationship whether you are together or apart. For example, agree to disagree, accept each other as you are, practice trust and honesty, strive towards compromise and self-sacrifice. Know that it is very important that if you want this relationship to work, you must make a great effort to not drift apart and always remember the number one reason why you got into one in the first place. <3
